With the Participation of 40 Universities and Academies and 238 Media Projects Shorouk’s 10th Media Creativity Festival to Launch Next Sunday (Honoring Veteran Actor Khaled Zaki)
Under the patronage and in the presence of business leaders Yasmine Khamis and Farida Khamis, and under the supervision of Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of Shorouk Academy, and Dr. Mohamed Shoman, Vice Chairman, along with a distinguished group of media professionals and public figures, the International Higher Institute of Media organizes the 10th edition of the Shorouk Media Creativity Festival. This year’s edition is named after the esteemed actor Khaled Zaki and will take place on April 19–20 at the Shorouk Media Theater.
Dr. Soheir Saleh, Dean of the Institute and Festival President, stated that this edition represents a continuation of a long record of success, noting the remarkable expansion in participation each year, reflecting the growing trust of Egyptian, Arab, and international universities in Shorouk Academy and the institute.
She added that honoring veteran actor Khaled Zaki as the guest of honor comes in recognition of his distinguished artistic career and impactful contributions to Egyptian and Arab audiences. She emphasized that presenting inspiring role models is a key objective of the festival, encouraging students to innovate and excel.
This year’s festival features wide participation from 32 Egyptian and Arab public and private universities, in addition to 8 academies and institutes, with a total of 238 media projects across radio and television, print and digital journalism, public relations, and digital marketing.
This diversity highlights the festival’s regional and international dimension, fostering knowledge exchange among media students from different countries and creating a positive competitive environment that supports innovation and keeps pace with developments in the media industry.
